Frequently Asked Questions
What should my child wear?
December in Oregon can be cold and wet. We recommend warm pants and jacket, waterproof if possible. Hats and gloves are also good to have. Good footwear is also a must, sneakers are best for running.
Does my child need to bring equipment?
No. We will provide sticks and goggles so that you can see what equipment is needed. We do recommend a personal mouth guard which can be purchased at Dick's or other sporting goods store. This is for safety. This clinic is not intended to be aggressive enough to require safety gear, but accidents happen.
Does my child need to have prior experience?
No. This event is designed to introduce new players to the game.
I don't know if there is a Lacrosse Team near me, can my child come anyway?
Yes! We are in the process of creating new teams at all ages and growing the sport. We welcome all regardless of skill or place of residence.
Who will be running this event?
This event is being run in partnership between North Clackamas Girls Lacrosse and Oregon City Girls Lacrosse which are overseen by the Oregon Girls Lacrosse Association. OC High School girls will be coaching the event with representatives from North Clackamas and Oregon City onsite for questions.
